In November 2023, we opened our new office in Istanbul, offering a unique exam experience to telc Exam participants in the city. We consider the telc Exam as an experience and always strive to provide a better exam environment for our participants. In line with this goal, we started offering Digital telc Exams in 2024. Now, we are making a groundbreaking move in Turkey by launching Hybrid telc Exams (Hybride telc Prüfung) at our Istanbul branch on October 21, 2024. This new approach will offer many advantages and conveniences, which we aim to summarize in this blog post.

As the name suggests, the Hybrid telc Exam is a combination of the traditional paper-based method and the digital exam method. This format was designed recognizing that while some age groups are more inclined towards digital exams and others towards classic written exams, there is a group of exam participants who feel comfortable with both. The Hybrid telc Exam stands out as a more flexible option. In this format, the written part is conducted on paper, while the oral part is carried out in a digital environment.

Overall, the hybrid model offers greater flexibility and accessibility by leveraging the advantages of digital technology, while also preserving the proven methods of traditional exam practices. The exam durations are the same as those for paper-based exams, and both the written and oral exams are conducted at the exam center. There is no option for remote participation for candidates.

You can stay updated on all exam types and dates by visiting DAS telc Portal. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us via email at [email protected], and our expert team will respond to you promptly.

The telc Exam is designed and structured according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The exam content is drawn from real-life scenarios, making the exam experience more comfortable for participants. With the added option of the hybrid exam, choosing the telc Exam becomes even more advantageous. Additionally, the telc Certificate is recognized by YÖK and ÖSYM and is considered equivalent to the YDS. You can also use the telc Certificate to present your German language proficiency in a valid and accepted manner for domestic education purposes.
